The porcelain and crystal material of the stones produced in this mine has increased the sandability and polishability of the stones produced. It should be noted that the properties of Aliguderz porcelain stones are in accordance with the desirable properties considered for marble stones based on the ASTM standard.

Siatom black marble mine is one of the stones whose mine in Marand city of West Azarbaijan province has recently been exploited. The mine of this stone now has 2 active working pits, the monthly extraction rate of which is around 1500 tons. In addition, the definitive reserve of this mine is estimated at around 500,000 tons.
